I want to revive the hot springs gazette

Post by longsoaks »

I have given a lot of thought about bringing the hot springs gazette into the social media era, there are many YouTube and Facebook sights showing various takes on hot springs anyway, why not use these contributors in a renewed HSG that allows us to reach the public and carry on what the old HSG started.

A site dedicated to our shared love of hot springs and educating the masses about proper etiquette towards using these soaks.

Each state, and country around the world showcased by us the soakers, and information updated/corrected in a timely matter instead of waiting for printed results.

We have the basics here, today, who wants to add their 2 cents to my idea?

An electronic version available on the web?
Lots to consider for making it work. Mainly the rules, regs, and intricacies of an internet presence.

It's a tall order to bring back the HSG. To add to what Greyfalcon said- it would take a tremendous amount of work and dedication. In this day and age, not many young people would be interested in a hard copy publication. Only old fossils like us can appreciate a print gazette. If someone had the time, the money, the ability to freely travel 24/7, then it might be possible. You still need photographers, writers, and an apprpriate publisher.

I am thinking more of a You Tube type presentation, with content provided by other soakers as well as myself, public can request certain hot springs and we fill in the blanks.

I am not thinking paper book in any form, but a visual record in streaming format currently used world wide.

To not have copy rite issues I would name it "Planet Hot Springs" and invite input from soakers worldwide.

already have too much negative heat on this subject, I would ask for this thread to be deleted, asap.

I thought I had a good idea, but you the public want me to go away, so I am almost done. Why put my time into something only to face opposition because you want them to be secret. Hello, google has let the cat out of the bag! Saline isn't private even though you salines want it that way!

I'm going out and plant trees so you all can breathe, wanna join me? I know of a few hot springs along my route, only be on the road for a month or more this time.

I listen to Jim Croce and Karen Carpenter, for all we know, you can keep the dime.....
