Any way to have links open a new tab?

Post by mikel g »

When I click on a link within a post, I'd rather not migrate away from SoakersForum. Any way to change this setting?
I don't find such an option in my User Control Panel.

Unfortunately, that's one of the changes in this new release.
The workaround? Simply use your control key with your mouse click to open that link in a new tab. To test this, put your cursor over my avatar & cntl/click.... B^)

Hope that helps.

Thanks, Bruce.
I'll eventually remember to do that. Meanwhile, I remember where it's posted.

I'm about ready for some serious thaw.

I always just click the right mouse button and choose an option from the drop down menu: "Open Link in New Window" or "Open Link in New Tab."
