Re: SF Software Update

I think I have the problem licked! Let me know if it is working for you Jim.
It seems to be fixed. Thanks for what you're doing for all of us, Dan.

Guess I still need to contact Comcast about all those Russian Bride emails I'm missing.

Re: SF Software Update

Your provider is kicking back the emails as they are being deemed SPAM. I'll work on this, I think there are some things on my end I can do... I looked at my Comcast SPAM mailbox and it's empty. Since I never get email for Viagra or Russian Brides, I wonder where Comcast is hiding it. I believe I'l...

Re: SF Software Update

I believe I'm having a "notification" problem.

User Control Panel/Board Preferences/Edit Notification Options

All boxes are checked but I am not receiving email notifications when someone posts or responds to one of my posts.

Login problem

On my 1st attempt to log in, I got the following message:
"You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts."
Then I had to copy one of those indeciphable, hard to read strings of gibberish before I could get in.

What's up with that?

Re: Test test test - Anyone use Subscriptions?

Bruce,
I hope you brought your snow shovel with you. I'm getting real tired of "Springtime In the Rockies."

Yahoo [Bot]

Bruce,
I just looked at "Who is Online?" in the lower left corner. Besides myself and a couple others, I saw "Yahoo [Bot]" When I reloaded, it was gone but... What's that about?

Skndip, Try clicking/holding ctrl key while rotating mouse wheel (between right & left clicks?). You can make text larger or smaller w/o affecting pics. It doesn't work in all instances but I use it all the time in this group.

In the good old days, you were able to e-mail anyone a free Shiner Bock from the brewery in TX. The fine print said you had to pick up your free beer at the brewery. I went there (website) earlier to send one but I guess the good old days are gone. Couldn't find the link. Progress... Ain't it grand?

Eric,
I was re-browsing at soak.net. I'd forgotten you invested some $$$ in setting up the new group. Please let me know if I can put a few $$$ in the pot.
Many thanks.

I should hasten to point out that I personally, don't watch, or enjoy either of those programs, except for educational purposes. Their adult themes are way too "modern" for someone with a cardiac condition. Every year at renewal time, I ask DISH Network why I can't have a customized progra...
